
King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) has achieved the highest-level Grade 5 in the Past Performance Evaluation of Effective Research Management under the Fundamental Fund (FF) budget allocation for Fiscal Year 2028 (B.E. 2571), conducted by the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI).
KMUTNB received an outstanding overall score of 99.12 points, placing the University in Grade 5, the highest performance level, among a total of 175 evaluated organizations.
This outstanding result reflects KMUTNB’s strong capacity and effectiveness in research management, encompassing strategic planning, implementation, budget management, monitoring, and the achievement of tangible outcomes from research investment.
The result also demonstrates KMUTNB’s continuous improvement in research management performance. In Fiscal Year 2027 (B.E. 2570), a total of 161 organizations were evaluated, with KMUTNB achieving Grade 5 with a score of 98.80 points. The latest assessment therefore represents an improvement from 98.80 to 99.12 points.
This achievement underscores KMUTNB’s continued commitment to strengthening its research management system through effective, transparent, and outcome-oriented practices, supported by strong collaboration among researchers, faculties, colleges, research centers, supporting units, and the University’s research administration teams.
