
STRI proudly congratulates two researchers from the Faculty of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) for their outstanding achievement in winning two Gold Medals at the 19th International Invention and Innovation Show (INTARG 2026), held on 2–3 June 2026 in Katowice, Republic of Poland.
The award-winning innovations were presented by Assistant Professor Thidima Umpawan and Dr. Manintra Thumkhosit, whose works were showcased at one of Europe’s leading international platforms for inventions and innovations. The two Gold Medal-winning innovations are:

Developed by Dr. Manintra Thumkhosit
The awards were presented by Ms. Patrycja Cecot, President of Eurobusiness and Chair of INTARG 2026, at the MCK Katowice International Congress Centre.
The participation was supported by the Science and Technology Research Institute (STRI), the Faculty of Architecture and Design, KMUTNB, in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
This remarkable achievement reflects the excellence, creativity, and dedication of KMUTNB researchers in developing innovative solutions with practical applications and societal impact.
